Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Representative is the face of Old Town Trolley Tours of Nashville. The Customer Service Representative is to give accurate information and guide customers to us. The Customer Service Representative will control the guest lines and organize tour departures ensuring tours stay on schedule. The guests first impressions should be that we are professionals, and our company has integrity, is safe, and is fun. Guests judge our company by the way you do your job.

Requirements Essential Functions

Hand out brochures and direct guests to the ticket booths or closest stop.

Provide local tourism-related information with accuracy

Assist in boarding passengers and see to guests satisfaction while boarding to ensure vehicles depart depot on time.

Provide ridership numbers to the dispatcher at required intervals.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

High degree of self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as a team within the scope of established rules and regulations to satisfy the needs of our guests.

Ability to work with a diverse cast and the general public equally

Ability to deal with unpleasant, angry, or discourteous people in a pleasant, calm courteous manner.

Ability to read, write, and speak clear English in order to communicate with co-workers and the general public

Ability to learn new duties, policies and procedures and adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Outgoing and enjoy working with the public

Customer service experience preferred

Other Requirements

Must pass pre-employment MVR/background check, and substance abuse testing
