Senior Grant Accountant
We are looking for a Senior Grant Accountant! This position ensures that externally funded grants and contracts are managed in accordance with federal, state, private sponsor regulations, and internal policies. The Grant Accountant serves as a financial liaison between principal investigators, departments, and funding agencies to support effective stewardship of grant funds. Key Responsibilities Grant Financial Management Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Financial Reporting Post-Award Support Collaboration & Training Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience in grant accounting, fund accounting, or sponsored program administration (preferably in higher education). Knowledge of federal grant regulations and financial compliance standards. Strong analytical, organizational, and reconciliation skills. Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
