Business Relationship Manager
Industrial Credit Union is seeking a full-time Business Relationship Manager to join our team in Bellingham, WA. What You Will Do As A Business Relationship Manager: In this position, you will begin each day by reaching out to prospective and current members through networking, referrals, and targeted campaigns. You will be responsible for developing and managing a robust portfolio of members, acquiring new relationships, and expanding existing ones, including those with cannabis-related businesses. The role will require you to provide tailored financial solutions, promote banking products and services, and act as the primary point of contact for your portfolio. You will collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors, maintain strict confidentiality, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those for high-risk industries. Your daily activities will also include supporting the onboarding and ongoing servicing of merchant services, addressing member inquiries, and providing valuable insights to enhance the business member experience at Industrial Credit Union. Business Relationship Manager Requirements: 3+ years in business banking, commercial banking, or business relationship management Experience managing a $30MM+ business portfolio Strong track record in acquisition, growth, and retention Solid understanding of deposit products, cash management, and financial needs Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills Self-starter who thrives in a growth-oriented, new member acquisition environment Ability to build rapport with members and professionals Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality Effective problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills Proficiency with standard office tools, technology, and core systems Willingness and ability to travel within the community for business development A bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred. Experience with merchant services, business deposits, or payment solutions is also a plus. Business Relationship Manager Hours: This is a full-time role based in Bellingham, WA, with the possibility for remote work as needs allow. The position requires reliable attendance during scheduled hours and may involve travel for meetings, networking events, and visits. Occasional extended hours may be necessary to meet objectives. What We Offer Our Team: Pay: This full-time position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $81,469.05 to $122,203.57/year and a comprehensive benefits package! Other Compensation: This position is eligible for an annual incentive plan based on individual production and portfolio growth.
