Data Entry Clerk We are seeking an organized and efficient Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Ohio, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting and maintaining accurate data in our companys database systems, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of critical information.
Enter data from various sources into computer systems and databases with speed and accuracy
Verify and cross-reference data to maintain data quality and consistency
Review and update existing data in the system to ensure information is current
Scan and upload documents into the digital filing system
Perform regular data backups to secure digital information
Generate and distribute reports as requested by management
Respond to data-related inquiries from internal departments
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Conduct quality assurance checks to identify and correct data entry errors before final submission
Organize and maintain database records to ensure optimal system performance and accessibility
Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve data discrepancies and improve data management processes
Meet established deadlines and productivity targets while maintaining high accuracy standards
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications Proficiency in data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Fast and accurate typing skills with a minimum of 50 words per minute
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Good verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of data entry experience preferred
Ability to sit for extended periods and maintain focus on repetitive tasks
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
