GENERAL PURPOSE:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Account Executive with proven HVAC business development experience to join our growing team. The Account Executive will be responsible for driving new business development, managing key accounts, and expanding market share within the commercial, industrial, and residential HVAC sectors.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with contractors, mechanical firms, property managers, developers, and facility owners in the HVAC market.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities.
  • Manage and grow an existing book of key accounts by delivering consultative HVAC solutions, including equipment sales, system upgrades, service contracts, and maintenance agreements.
  • Conduct on-site assessments, presentations, and technical demonstrations to articulate the value of HVAC products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, operations, service, and finance) to ensure seamless project execution and customer experience.
  • Track sales activity, forecasts, and performance metrics using CRM tools to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Stay current on HVAC industry trends, new technologies, energy efficiency standards, and competitive landscape.


Job Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 4–7 years of successful HVAC sales or business development experience (equipment sales, service sales, or solutions sales).
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems, products, and applications (commercial, industrial, or large residential).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new business and expand accounts through consultative selling.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong relationship-building and closing abilities.
