Senior Director of Product Engineering
As Senior Director of Product Engineering at Honeywell Aerospace, you will serve as a key enterprise leader responsible for defining the product engineering vision that drives innovation, customer value, and long‑term business growth. You will guide product delivery teams, elevate platform strategy, and ensure the creation of scalable, high‑impact digital products. Your leadership will influence company‑wide priorities, strengthen the alignment between product and technology, and accelerate our ability to deliver differentiated solutions at scale. This role carries broad organizational visibility and is central to transforming how we build, deliver, and evolve products across the enterprise.
You will report directly to VP IT and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute the overall product technology strategy of the organization.
Shape the product portfolio roadmap by integrating customer insights, business objectives, and emerging technology opportunities.
Build and scale high‑performing teams through effective hiring, coaching, and talent development.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.
Oversee product engineering budgets, resource allocation, vendor strategy, and long‑term strategic planning.
Champion operational efficiency through modern development methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure product platforms meet high standards for scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization. YOU MUST HAVE
8+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery.
Experience with engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in product engineering.
