Responsibilities
Manage a daily pipeline of loans across RCN Capital’s full suite of lending programs
Review and analyze loan files for accuracy, creditworthiness, compliance, and collateral
Validate borrower and entity information, review credit reports, and assess investor experience
Collaborate closely with Loan Officers and the lending team to ensure files are complete and moving efficiently toward funding
Build a strong understanding of RCN Capital’s loan programs and underwriting guidelines
Make sound, data‑driven underwriting decisions while escalating complex scenarios when needed
Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Analytical mindset with sound judgment and problem‑solving skills
Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Eagerness to learn, grow, and deepen underwriting expertise
Familiarity with real estate investment lending is a plus, but not required
Required Skills
Strong organizational and time‑management skills
Ability to communicate professionally via phone, email, and in person
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
4‑year degree or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 4 years of mortgage underwriting experience
Experience with private or hard money lending strongly preferred
Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education
Schedule & Work Model
Hybrid work model (2 days per week in office)
First 90 days onsite for training and onboarding
