Overview
Razorfish is looking for a hands‑on, hybrid editor and videographer to join a tight‑knit production team for an energy company. The role will involve direct client interaction on‑site and collaboration with a diverse team editing and shooting internal and external digital, social and event content.
Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit video footage into high‑quality content for various social media platforms.
Optimize videos for platforms and devices.
Apply social‑first editing principles, pacing, and lighting.
Adhere to safety zones, graphics styles and upload specifications.
Videography
Use DSLR and studio cameras for video production and still photography.
Operate lighting, audio mixing, and recording equipment.
Post‑Production
Manage color‑grading, sound editing and troubleshoot technical specs and delivery issues.
Maintain proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and DaVinci Resolve.
Perform QC to ensure error‑free final files.
Understand safety zones and paid/organic safety area differences.
Project Management
Report to Agency Producer for priority shoots and edits.
Maintain assets within existing storage/archive infrastructure.
Meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality.
Create engaging, error‑free video content.
Stay current with video and motion graphics trends and technologies.
Qualifications
3–5 years of professional experience in video editing & videography.
Proficient with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, color grading, and sound editing.
Strong storytelling, pacing, and timing sense.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Creative problem‑solving, attention to detail, and strong time‑management skills.
Passion for social media and pop culture.
Willingness to appear in content (hand, face, voice) as needed.
Portfolio showcasing best work in editing and videography.
Possible overtime or weekend work may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with motion graphics (Adobe After Effects).
Experience in social content creation and advertising.
