Assistant Regional Property Manager (Dallas-Based, 30% Travel)
Oak Wood Property Management is seeking an Assistant Regional Property Manager based in Dallas, TX, to support the operations of a growing portfolio of manufactured housing and RV communities across the United States. This role partners closely with property managers to help drive performance, support on-site teams, and ensure operational consistency across multiple markets.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, and people-focused professional with experience in property management and the ability to manage multiple properties in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Leasing & Resident Relations
Support leasing efforts across multiple communities, including marketing available homes and lots.
Assist with prospect inquiries, application processing, lease agreements, and renewals.
Help ensure a high level of resident satisfaction by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor leasing performance and provide recommendations to improve occupancy.
Operational Oversight
Assist property managers in overseeing day-to-day operations across a national portfolio.
Support property managers to ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.
Track occupancy, rent collections, and key performance metrics.
Assist with budgeting, reporting, and expense management.
Maintenance & Vendor Coordination
Help coordinate maintenance operations to ensure the timely completion of work orders and community upkeep.
Partner with vendors and contractors on repairs, capital improvements, and ongoing projects.
Support compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements across properties.
Team Leadership & Support
Provide guidance and day-to-day support to on-site property managers and maintenance teams.
Assist with onboarding, training, and development of site staff.
Conduct periodic site visits to evaluate property conditions, operations, and team performance.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in property management, leasing, or a related field.
Experience supporting multiple properties or regions strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different markets.
Experience with manufactured housing or multifamily communities is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (experience with property management software is a plus).
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Travel Requirement
25–30% travel
to properties across the United States.
