We are seeking a reliable, dedicated Mobile Phlebotomist to join our team in Lansing, Michigan, and the surrounding areas.
Essential Functions
A Phlebotomist is needed to complete the Insurance Medical Exams in Lansing, Michigan, and surrounding areas.
This is a mobile position.
Your office will be in your home.
You will travel to the clients that you will need to meet with.
This is a flexible schedule position as you will make your own hours and decide how much you would like to work.
This is an independent contract position.
Duties & Responsibilities
Collect and store blood samples from patients.
Distribute samples to designated departments.
Monitor storage and inventory of supplies.
Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures.
Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions.
Qualifications and Skills
Medical students are welcome to apply. College students, pre‑med, juniors, or seniors looking for a flexible work balance for school are encouraged to apply.
1‑2 years of practical phlebotomy experience.
Live in Michigan.
Experience taking vitals (height, weight, & blood pressure readings).
Computer literate.
Detail‑oriented.
Reliable transportation.
Can pass a federal background check.
Very organized.
Excellent communication skills.
Requirements
Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields.
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Familiarity with medical software and equipment.
Strong organizational skills.
Effective communication skills.
