Summary:
The Business Risk Officers will report to the Segment Risk Officer, Sr. Incumbents in this role will be the primary colleague responsible for all risk activity within a specific Business Unit(s) (Consumer Lending, Business Banking, Branch Banking, etc.) and will be responsible for a team of Segment Risk Managers and Specialists that manage the risk activity of specified Business Units.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Managers, SME’s and key partners (Segment Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc.) in support and execution of complex business risk programs supporting segment processes and risk/compliance strategies.
Business Risk Officer Seniors will manage a team that supports a business unit(s) that is more strategic in nature with a workload that is larger in scope due to the growth in the business unit.
They will manage a team of colleagues that are more experienced and have a higher grade level.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
7+ years of related experience
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Banking knowledge
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise and organized method appropriate for the intended audience
