Job Details Hybrid in Knoxville office with occasional overnight trips to sites in Arkansas, Southeast Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.
Responsibilities
Design physical equipment/systems for high, medium, or low voltage electrical substations.
Create detailed drawings such as switchgear, transformers, bus work, conduit, grounding, and lightning/static protection.
Generate One Lines, Electrical Arrangements, Conduit/Grounding layouts/detail, Equipment Plans/Elevations, and Bills of Material using AutoCAD or Microstation.
Lead and mentor team members and contribute to project leadership.
Qualifications
8+ years of physical design experience for electrical substations or related power/process plant design.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required; must have or be able to obtain licensure in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Texas.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation design software.
Strong learning mindset, self‑starter, mentor, and leader qualities.
Applicants must meet the above qualifications and possess an active PE license. The position offers a hybrid work model and the opportunity to travel to project sites.
