Overview STO Building Group is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role requires a creative professional with a strong understanding of visual storytelling who can produce compelling designs across both digital and print platforms. The Graphic Designer will support multiple brands, shape and maintain brand identities, develop high-impact marketing materials, and support business development efforts.

Reporting Reporting to: Director, Regional Marketing

Hybrid Schedule & Office Locations Hybrid Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day work-from-home per week.

Office locations: Philadelphia (Bala Cynwyd), New York City, Tampa, FL, Atlanta, GA, Charleston, SC

Key Responsibilities

Design Development: Create visually compelling and brand-aligned designs for a variety of mediums including proposals, presentations, reports, marketing collateral, social media graphics, website assets, and environmental graphics.

Brand Stewardship: Ensure consistency and integrity of each brand’s visual identity across all touchpoints. Uphold brand guidelines while evolving design systems as needed.

Proposal & Pursuit Graphics: Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to design and produce pursuit materials, including custom templates, covers, infographics, layouts, and presentation decks.

Creative Strategy: Work with marketing leadership to conceptualize and execute design strategies that align with business objectives and enhance client engagement.

Visualization & Infographics: Transform complex ideas and data into clear, impactful visuals and infographics that communicate technical concepts effectively.

Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high design standards and attention to detail.

Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including marketing, business development, and operations staff, to understand project goals and deliver innovative design solutions.

Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to marketing and proposal specialists.

Qualifications

Experience: GRAPHIC DESIGNER 3–5 years; SENIOR DESIGNER 5–10 years of graphic design experience, preferably within the AEC industry or a related professional services environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat) and Microsoft PowerPoint is required.

Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts.

Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.

Innovation: A proactive mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and staying current with design trends and industry best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with large-scale proposals (RFQs/RFPs) and client presentations.

Familiarity with construction processes and terminology.

Knowledge of digital design trends and experience with interactive PDFs and web-based design.

Experience leading design workshops or providing creative training.

Salary Range Salary Range: $70,000 - $115,000 annually
