Salary: Up to 130k with up to 8% annual merit bonus
Travel: up to 40%
The Role
We are seeking a strategic and hands on Continuous Improvement Leader to drive enterprise wide operational excellence. This role is ideal for a forward thinking CI professional who excels at leading high impact Kaizen events and is motivated to expand into broader operational leadership, with a long term path toward Plant Operations Management.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high impact Kaizen events delivering measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, and operational performance
Develop and coach employees at all levels in Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Build and execute 30/60/90 day sustainment plans to ensure improvements are embedded long term
Partner with plant and organizational leadership to prioritize and execute CI initiatives aligned with business objectives
Serve as a subject matter expert in Lean tools, including:
Daily Management Systems
6S
Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
Total Process Improvement (TPI)
Structured Problem Solving (A3, 8D, DMAIC)
Gemba Walks, Flow, and Kanban systems
Champion a culture of continuous improvement through audits, engagement, and disciplined follow through
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred)
8+ years of experience leading Kaizen events and CI initiatives with measurable results
7+ years of experience in manufacturing or assembly environments
Expert level knowledge of Lean tools and structured problem solving methodologies
Strong coaching, facilitation, and communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels
Proven ability to sustain improvements through disciplined follow up and accountability
