
Senior Human Resources Generalist, Employee Relations

Job Summary
The Senior HR Employee Relations Generalist will: process unemployment claims, provide backup for compliance items, assist with employee relations tasks for training, assist with the PRN process (removal of duty and generate letters), and provide administrative assistance to the department. This position follows a hybrid work schedule with 2 days per week in office and as needed by the department.

Required Experience and Education
Education: High School Diploma, GED, or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience with a High School Diploma/GED, or 3 years of professional experience in one or more areas of human resources with a Bachelor’s Degree. Relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Experience and Education
Education: Bachelor’s Degree and prior experience working in Employee Relations, Payroll, or Leave and Benefits Administration.
Licenses and Certifications: PHR, SHRM, or other HR‑related certifications upon hire.
Job Duties
Provide full range of support in functional HR areas including Benefits, Employee Relations, Workers’ Compensation and Leave Administration, Recruitment, Compensation, and Organizational Development and Training.
Counsel, advise, and collaborate with staff, supervisors, and managers to identify and resolve personnel issues and improve workforce performance and effectiveness.
Coordinate the administration and confidential investigation of workers’ compensation.
Assist with benefit administration.
Offer guidance to staff and management regarding the interpretation of policies and practices affecting various HR divisions.
Generate reports as requested and assist with statistical reports.
Ensure accuracy of information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
