Position : Financial Crimes/AML (AML monitoring, Screening, KYC/CDD, Transaction Surveillance) Role : Senior Consultant Location : Richardson, TX

About the Role As a Senior Consultant, you will work on strategic programs dealing with complex, industry-specific requirements in the areas of AML and financial crimes.

You will lead streams, deliver high‑quality solutions, build key client relationships and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Execute delivery of large change programs, including IT and business change components.

Engage with Financial Services firms as part of complex change and transformation initiatives impacting the risk and compliance industry.

Conduct interviews, workshops and walkthroughs with subject‑matter experts and process owners to elicit and document requirements; perform business analysis and project management to coordinate with technology teams for implementation in an Agile framework.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the client organization and Infosys on technology transformation programs and initiatives.

Manage stakeholder communication and minimize engagement risk by proactively identifying issues and recommending remediation courses.

Understand key AML regulatory directives from U.S. financial oversight bodies such as Fed, FINRA, SEC, OCC, FRB, and FinCen; identify and interpret key areas/processes impacted by specific regulations.

Collaborate with client functions (business, first line of defense, compliance risk management, and regulatory affairs) to assess regulatory impact on existing policies, risks, and controls.

Gather and analyze key anti‑financial‑crime requirements and processes; design and develop data maps to meet reporting needs of specific regulations.

Support regulatory change programs and initiatives in partnership with cross‑functional teams.

Lead or contribute to business development activities, including proposals and development of propositions.

Develop market‑relevant points of view to generate and sustain a presence in the marketplace; conduct interviews for anti‑financial‑crime needs of clients (e.g., Transaction Surveillance, KYC/CDD, Case Management & Workflow, Sanctions & Watchlist Screening, 314A/B).

Practice Development

Provide insights on new and emerging technologies and best practices; contribute to development of service offerings.

Support practice thought‑leadership activities and develop innovative assets, including differentiated points of view and methodologies.

Build social networks that enable knowledge flow and stay abreast of developments in anti‑financial‑crime expertise areas.

Prepare thought papers and participate in industry conferences and forums.

Contribute to practice growth through recruitment, training, and retention efforts.

People Management

Coach and develop junior team members to deliver quality results and promote professional development.

Participate in and contribute to practice training activities.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of experience in Financial Services, with at least 5 years in Financial Crimes/AML/KYC/CDD.

Experience with implementation of anti‑financial‑crime tools such as Actimize, Fenergo, C3 AI, Oracle FCCM, Fircosoft, Lexis Nexis, etc.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or three years of relevant work experience per year of education.

Demonstrated ability to define, mobilize, and deliver complex change programs in large organizations.

Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and bring structure to projects.

Ability to facilitate discussions, analyze and de‑construct problems, develop structured solutions, and categorize challenges.

Excellent presentation and facilitation skills; ability to build relationships with senior client leadership.

Willingness and ability to travel up to 100% based on client requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent advanced degree; industry‑recognized certifications such as CFA, FRM, etc.

Experience leveraging advanced AI/ML technologies and analytics to reduce false positives or automate disposition of alerts.

Experience leading stakeholder‑centric programs for successful project delivery.

Proven ability to deliver under tight deadlines and challenging constraints.

Ability to collaborate within the firm and leverage existing resources.

Demonstrated thought leadership and ability to conceptualize and commercialize new solutions or services.

Willingness to work as part of a cross‑cultural team, including flexibility for multiple time zones.

Compensation & Benefits The target annual compensation range for this role is $116,875 to $148,125.

Travel may be required as per client requirements.
