We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive
Senior Accountant
to join our high‑growth organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys a mix of hands‑on accounting, problem‑solving, and continuous process improvement. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in supporting monthly close activities, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
This position operates in a
hybrid work environment , combining remote flexibility with in‑office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and review general ledger (GL) accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month‑end close processes.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Support audits by preparing schedules, responding to auditor inquiries, and helping ensure compliance with internal controls.
Analyze variances, trends, and financial results, and provide insights to management.
Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
Partner cross‑functionally with AP, AR, FP&A, and business teams to ensure accurate financial data.
Maintain and enhance internal accounting policies and documentation.
Assist with special projects, system enhancements, or ad‑hoc analysis as needed.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Minimum 2 years of public accounting experience
At least 1 year of industry general ledger accounting experience
Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
Strong proficiency in Excel and experience working with mid‑to large‑sized ERP platforms
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification
Experience in a high‑growth environment
Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar
Desired Skills and Experience
3+ years of progressive accounting experience, at least 2 years in public accounting
1+ year of post-public accounting experience required
Bachelors in Accounting required, CPA preferred
Strong ERP systems experience
