
Amazon Brand Director

Who You Are:
As a Brand Director for Michael Kors overseeing the Amazon account and partnership, you will support all divisions (Accessories, Footwear, Ready to Wear, Men’s and liaison with Licensing) in scaling and growing the business. You will be managing all the details around how our product categories show up on Amazon and ensuring assortments generate high revenue, profit and inventory turnover. You are a leader and have managed a team before. You are results-driven with strong communication and organizational skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You are a multi-tasker and team player who can work collaboratively. The ideal candidate will have a digital e-commerce background, strong analytical skills, a keen sense of the marketing landscape, while also possessing strong entrepreneurial skills. There is a strong preference for this role to have had previous Amazon experience.
This role will report to a SVP and provide exposure to executive management both internal and external. This candidate must have experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the next phase of growth and scale for the Amazon business, driving topline revenue, profitability, and brand expansion.
Partner closely with marketing to translate product strategy, inventory flow, and key commercial opportunities into impactful full-funnel activation plans that drive demand while maintaining efficiency.
Drive inventory productivity by optimizing assortment, depth, and flow to maximize sell-through, improve inventory turn, and support profitable growth.
Leverage cross-functional partnerships to develop and execute merchandising strategies that align with brand vision while delivering strong commercial performance.
Optimize key Amazon growth levers including product content (PDP and A+), conversion, and customer engagement programs such as Vine to drive sustained traffic and revenue growth.
Generate and synthesize business analysis to identify trends, unlock opportunities, and inform actionable strategies across traffic, conversion, and assortment.
Manage financial performance and support P&L ownership, ensuring alignment between sales, margin, and inventory investments.
Prepare and present seasonal product strategies, business plans, and performance recaps to senior leadership.
Collaborate cross-functionally across Sales, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, Planning, and Licensing to ensure alignment on business priorities and execution.
Build and develop a high-performing team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and strong commercial acumen.
You’ll Need to Have:
Bachelor’s Degree.
8+ years relevant experience, buying or sales experience.
Amazon Experience.
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Full understanding of product lifecycle & proficient in retail math.
Knowledge of industry best practices/standards.
Demonstrated experience in synthesizing data analyses into actionable results.
Ability to work in NYC office 3 days a week.
