OVERVIEW The Social Media Manager increases brand awareness, drives traffic to websites, and generates leads through the use of social media outlets with organic posting and monitoring. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring organic social media strategy across multiple channels and profiles.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate social media calendar for each profile and channel we oversee.

Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily.

Closely monitor social media engagement and respond promptly in a professional manner that represents the brand.

Continually analyze social media strategies and plans for improvement and utilize KPIs and A/B testing to drive improved results.

Research social media trends and make recommendations for changes relevant to marketing activities.

Define key KPIs for tracking social media performance and provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to stakeholders.

Train team members at the stores on social media policies and provide guidance and training on best practices and standards.

Monitor social media profiles managed by stores to ensure policies are followed and provide ideas for improvement.

Utilize social media tools such as Sprout Social, HubSpot, etc. for efficiencies in posting, monitoring, performance, and more.

Produce engaging new social content on site at stores, events, and boat shows as needed.

Collaborate and communicate effectively with MarineMax team members and partners.

Engage with members of the boating community and related industries on social media.

Stay up to date on the latest social media policies, best practices, technologies and advancements.

Coordinate organic social media plans to align with paid social media strategies.

REQUIRED SKILLS

5+ years of experience managing social media channels at a business and corporate level.

Knowledge of social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube.

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud for developing content.

Knowledge of video production, photography, and drone/UAV a plus.

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
