As a member of the Servicing team, the Servicing Analyst is responsible for the oversight and management of subservicer relationships, ensuring compliance with investor and regulatory requirements, and supporting the operational functions of Marlin’s mortgage servicing platform. The Servicing Analyst works closely with internal teams and external partners including subservicers, investors, and vendors.

Company Overview Commencing operations in January 2021, Marlin invests in and manages mortgage servicing rights (MSRs) and operates a fully integrated residential mortgage platform. Marlin and its affiliates master-service loans; own affiliated insurance, technology, and SEC-registered investment advisory businesses; and currently service approximately 170,000 loans nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the oversight of multiple subservicer relationships

Ensure compliance with investor and regulatory requirements

Oversee onboarding of mortgage servicing transfers

Manage the document collateral process for servicing transfers

Maintain policies and procedures

Analyze portfolio data and compile performance reports

Identify, develop products, automation and assist with implementation

Facilitate MERS reporting and annual reviews

Maintain relationships with third parties; investors, vendors and subservicers

Participate in state and investor audits and reviews

Support agency QC and repurchase requests

Qualifications

5+ years Mortgage Servicing or Subservicer Oversight experience

Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations applicable to mortgage servicing

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work independently

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite package including excellent knowledge of Excel

The salary range for this position is between:

$75K - $85K

This range may vary in other geographies based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
