FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Director of Operations for a great client. This rapidly growing company is a leader in its space and is focused on driving technological advancements through a suite of medical devices.
So, what will you be doing as Director of Operations? -Provide oversight and execution of plant operations -Maintain a culture focused on safety and efficiency -Lead and develop a cross-functional operations team -Work closely with new product design on product launches -Develop long-term plant capacity strategy
What you will need to be successful: -BS in Engineering, Operations Management, or Supply Chain -10 years of experience leading plant operations -Direct experience in a fabrication or machining environment -Ability to lead teams of 300+ (direct/indirect) -Demonstrated success in improving operational efficiency metrics -Experience in a regulated industry (aviation, medical devices, pharmaceuticals)
Things considered a plus: -MBA -Six Sigma Certification -Prior experience in a medical device manufacturing environment
