Job Overview Schneider is seeking a Freight Broker in Green Bay to establish and grow relationships with carriers and source carrier capacity. The Freight Broker will also coach and mentor new freight brokers.
Responsibilities
Identify, prospect for and generate new carriers.
Sell load opportunities to new and existing carriers.
Quote, negotiate prices and commit transportation services.
Manage freight pickup, transit and drop-off to ensure excellent service.
Work with sales reps and the network management team to provide short- and long-term solutions for carriers.
Help new freight brokers grow their book of business.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
One or more years of sales experience preferred.
Fluent in English and Spanish is a plus.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Able to take initiative.
Excellent problem‑solving skills.
