We are supporting our client in the search for a Sourcing Director to lead global procurement strategy and supplier management.
This is a high-impact role, combining strategic sourcing, supplier development, and team leadership, with responsibility for driving cost efficiency, supply chain performance, and innovation across a global supplier network.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage global supplier relationships, including negotiations and performance management Develop and execute sourcing strategies across key product categories Identify and onboard new suppliers and sourcing opportunities Drive cost optimisation and revenue growth initiatives Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and ensure quality standards Proactively manage supply risks, shortages, and delivery challenges Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to deliver sourcing solutions Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team Implement and standardise sourcing processes and best practices Stay ahead of market trends and innovations within the sector Represent the business at industry events and supplier meetings Travel requirement: up to 50% What We're Looking For
Proven experience in sourcing or procurement within:
GSE Aviation Automotive / mobility / off-highway sectors
Strong background in supplier relationship management and negotiations Experience leading and developing teams Commercial mindset with ability to drive cost savings and efficiency Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment Experience with electrification, telematics, or advanced vehicle technologies Additional languages (Spanish, French, German, Portuguese) Lean, Six Sigma, or project management experience Why Join?
