Junior Engineer, Digital Signage & Systems

A global visual production and experiential technology company is seeking a Junior Engineer to support the design and integration of digital signage and AV systems for large scale retail and experiential environments. This role will translate creative concepts into technically executable installations through system design, CAD documentation, and on site coordination.
The position combines engineering support, technical documentation, and field integration, partnering closely with project managers, designers, and fabrication teams to deliver complex digital display environments.
Responsibilities
Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for digital signage, AV systems, and display installations Develop system layouts including display placement, cabling paths, mounting structures, and device integration Interpret architectural and construction drawings to ensure accurate integration of digital systems within physical environments Assist in system design including displays, media players, control systems, and networking components Prepare equipment lists, wiring diagrams, rack layouts, and supporting technical documentation Support on site installation, system testing, servicing, and commissioning when required Coordinate with project managers, designers, technicians, and fabrication teams during installation and deployment Participate in design reviews and update drawings based on project feedback and revisions Assist with field verification and as built documentation following installations Skills & Experience
1–3 years of experience in CAD drafting or engineering within AV, digital signage, or experiential environments Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Ability to read architectural and construction drawings Familiarity with digital display systems and AV signal flow Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable supporting both office based engineering work and on site installations AVIXA CTS certification or progress toward certification is a plus
