ENTEK is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative
Technical Writer
to support our Training and Development team in Henderson, Nevada. If you enjoy turning complex processes into clear, easy-to-follow instructions—and want to make a real impact on how people learn and work—this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do As a Technical Writer at ENTEK, you’ll play a key role in documenting processes and developing training materials that support our manufacturing operations. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and cross-functional teams to create clear, accurate, and engaging documentation that helps employees succeed.
In This Role, You Will
Develop clear, concise work instructions, SOPs, and training materials
Create and support online training content, including videos and documentation
Interview subject matter experts and gather information for assignments
Observe manufacturing processes to understand workflows and training needs
Organize and analyze information to produce structured, user‑friendly content
Incorporate visuals such as photos, diagrams, and formatting to enhance learning
Collaborate with Training & Development staff to review and finalize materials
Follow established processes to publish and distribute training content
Support training calendars and departmental deliverables
Identify opportunities to improve documentation and training processes
Requirements What We’re Looking For Minimum Qualifications
2+ years of experience in technical writing or process documentation
Strong proofreading and formatting skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Ability to clearly communicate complex information in a simple, effective way
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience creating training materials or instructional contentAbility to work with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders
Portfolio or examples of technical writing work
Your work environment will primarily be in an office setting, with opportunities to engage directly on the manufacturing floor to observe processes and collaborate with team members. This hands‑on exposure ensures your work is accurate, relevant, and impactful.
