Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
Perform quantity take-offs and analyze project drawings and specifications.
Develop and manage project budgets and cost forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure estimate accuracy.
Review bid documents, proposals, and contracts.
Identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value engineering options.
Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating and quantity take-offs.
Strong knowledge of budgeting and cost management principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with construction estimating software/tools (preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with local building codes and industry standards is a plus for construction projects.
