Product Marketing Engineer Intern (AI & Automation) - Intern (Summer/Spring/Fall 2026) In-Office

Role Summary Build the technical infrastructure that powers Cloudflare’s Go‑To‑Market (GTM) engine. You will develop AI‑powered agents and web applications to automate and scale core marketing and sales functions. This role is for a high‑agency engineer who wants to use a modern full‑stack approach to solve real‑world business bottlenecks, bridging the gap between strategic GTM needs and technical execution.

Master the Cloudflare Agents SDK and LLM orchestration.

Build scalable, stateful GTM applications at the Edge.

Own the lifecycle of a technical project from ideation to internal launch.

Technical Translation:

Learn to communicate the business impact of technical systems.

Role Responsibilities

Engineering GTM Tools:

Architect and deploy production‑ready agents using the Cloudflare stack (Workers, Agents SDK, Sandbox SDK, Durable Objects, etc.).

AI Enablement:

Design autonomous workflows using Workers AI and Vectorize (RAG) to automate technical case studies, sales enablement, and event messaging.

Rapid Development:

Utilize AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Windsurf, or OpenCode) to move from concept to a shipped internal tool in weeks.

Technical Ownership:

Partner with Sales/Marketing to identify gaps, then build, launch, and manage the internal lifecycle of your technical solutions.

Role Requirements (Must‑Haves)

Currently pursuing a degree or program in CS or Engineering with a focus on building functional systems.

Ability to commit to a minimum 12 week summer internship.

In‑office 3‑5 days a week in Austin.

Proficiency with Git/GitHub and hands‑on experience with AI coding environments (Claude Code, Windsurf, or OpenCode).

A self‑starter capable of taking a technical requirement from 0 to 1.

Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Cloudflare Native:

Experience building and deploying projects on the Cloudflare Developer Platform.

Startup Experience:

Previous experience in a startup environment or building your own independent projects “in public.”
