Position Type:

Full-Time, benefits eligible position Hours:

Days, 7:30am to 4pm or 8am to 4:30pm Wage Range:

$55,000 to $68,000 per year depending on experience Location:

14500 Regent Lane, Burnsville, MN 55306

In this role, you will lead employees in maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry departments to maintain our community. You will also have the opportunity to bond with our residents and make a difference in their lives. Our ideal candidate is a strong leader with excellent customer service and time management skills. We are looking for someone who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and who will lead by example.

Maintenance Director Responsibilities

Arrange for and/or perform heating and cooling system maintenance; electrical, plumbing, and all other mechanical maintenance; lawn care and landscaping; snow and ice removal; clearing debris from outside areas; window cleaning.

Respond to requests for maintenance in ongoing and urgent situations.

Arrange for plant inspections to comply with state and federal regulations.

Perform supervisory functions for both maintenance and housekeeping staff.

Purchase supplies as needed and research/negotiates vendor contracts.

Assist with planning and managing the physical plant budget.

Perform additional duties as required.

Maintenance Director Skills and Requirements

3+ years' experience in long term care or other facility maintenance.

High school diploma or GED required, post high school education/training preferred.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Minimum class "SPECIAL" boiler operator license is preferred.

Valid MN Driver's License.

Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.

Knowledge of mechanical and physical plant maintenance, as well as state and federal building and grounds regulations.
