Camp Dates:
6/15/2026 (Mon) – 8/7/2026 (Fri), plus weekend set up & breakdown and orientation date
Camp Hours:
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (shifts vary)
Hourly Wage:
$22.00 – $24.50 per hour, based on experience

Job Responsibilities The role involves leading a self‑directed camp site, building relationships with parents and children, training and inspiring a team, and overseeing daily operations. You will supervise campers, maintain activity spaces, ensure safety and policy compliance, record incidents, manage allergies and dietary needs, and update camper profiles.
Actively supervise campers
Maintain organized and approachable activity spaces
Ensure compliance with Camp Policies
Report and record details of concerns or incidents, including injuries
Keep track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions
Add daily updates and photos to campers’ profiles
Job Requirements
At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2 months of camp experience or 1 year in education or child‑care setting
May be asked to chaperone campers on an off‑site field trip where locations demand
Additional Job Requirements
Past management or leadership experience preferred
On‑site camp management can be physically demanding, requiring long periods on feet, outdoor work, and physical exertion
Preferred: Meets local Camp Director qualifications or is a former Steve & Kate’s Camp employee
Physical Requirements
Maintain and follow all safety and health rules
Organize and maintain clean and accessible activity spaces
Assist in camp set‑up and breakdown during move‑in and move‑out weekends
Stand for long periods while supervising children and facilitating activities
Participate in athletic games
