Role Description This is a full-time role for an Executive Director, based in North Canton, OH. The Executive Director will be responsible for cultivating partner relationships, overseeing daily operations, financial stability, staff management, fundraising, and community engagement to ensure the diaper bank’s mission is achieved. Leadership & Management Supervision of staff Lead and manage day-to-day operations including diaper collection, inventory, orders, and distributions Ensure organizational compliance with policies, procedures, and reporting requirements Knowledge of leadership and management principles for nonprofit organizations Proven success working with a board of directors Lead all non-grant fundraising efforts, including donor campaigns, sponsorships, and fundraising events Ensure financial stability and accountability of the organization by monitoring budgets, financial reports, cash flow, and donor software Collaborate with the Treasurer and Board on annual budgets and financial planning Marketing & Communications Oversee all marketing, social media, public relations, and community awareness campaigns Ensure consistent messaging to increase visibility and support for the diaper bank Board Relations Serve as the primary staff liaison to the Board of Directors, preparing reports, updates, and strategic recommendations Collaborate with the Board and Founder on strategic direction and growth Community Engagement & Partnerships Maintain strong relationships with partner agencies, donors, and community leaders Collaborate with the Founder on grant opportunities, while leading all other fundraising efforts. Ability to communicate with national partners Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred 2–4 years of experience in nonprofit management, operations, or program leadership preferred Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, and community partnership development Financial expertise with experience managing budgets and reports; proficiency with Excel, familiarity with Bloomerang, and Givebutter a plus Passion for ending diaper need and period poverty and serving families in the community Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during daily operations Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds (such as distribution bags, boxes, and donations) Valid driver's license required to drive organization truck Compensation This is a full-time position with a salary range of $58,000–$62,000 annually commensurate with experience.
