As a member of the Graduate Admissions Operations management team, this position assists the Director in managing the application data, materials, and admission decisions for all graduate programs in an accurate, timely, and secure manner. This includes processing application materials per program requirements, calculating performance in past academic coursework, and reviewing residency qualifications. The role ensures compliance with federal, state, institutional, and departmental policies and contributes to policy revisions to improve customer service while maintaining academic standards. The position troubleshoots issues related to receiving, completing, and decisioning applicants, develops discrepancy reports, and collaborates across campus to support the graduate application process. Responsibilities

DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN PROCESSING FUNCTIONS FOR APPLICANTS : Determine tuition classification per USG guidelines, present enrollment histories, direct delivery of accurate admissions decisions, manage admission materials per program requirements, monitor reports/queries in the application and student information systems, maintain discrepancy queries, assess international records, and locate additional assessment resources as needed. SUPERVISE TWO (2) STUDENT SERVICE SPECIALISTS : Recruit, select, and train staff; plan professional development; direct daily work; and evaluate performance. PROVIDE ACCURATE AND TIMELY CUSTOMER SERVICE : Maintain records of materials, provide status updates, liaise with students on material requirements, report on customer service requests, and train departmental representatives in admissions processes. MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS : Advise the Director on improved services, policies, and procedures and identify areas for process improvement. OTHER : Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications

Master's degree from an accredited college or university with one year of related experience in processing, admissions operations, enrollment services, student services, or a related field OR Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience. Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree preferred. Management skills related to supervision, planning, and familiarity with postsecondary school systems are also preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

KNOWLEDGE : Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases; knowledge of Student Records Management Law, Policy, and Governance; basic technical understanding of system functionality; project management understanding; understanding of admissions review processes and policies; familiarity with hiring and management practices; experience training staff on admissions issues; understanding major provisions of relevant laws and regulations. SKILLS : Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; detail-oriented with strong prioritization and organizational abilities; strong commitment to student-focused customer service. ABILITIES : Maintain confidentiality; manage multiple inputs for decision-making; develop new processes; work with vendors to optimize product utilization; verify systems operate at maximum capacity; develop training materials; drive change and deliver results in a complex environment. Shift, Salary & Benefits

Shift: Days, Monday–Friday (occasional extended hours may be required) Salary: $52,500 annually; pay is commensurate with qualifications within the established range Benefits: Augusta University offers a variety of benefits to full-time employees, including health insurance, retirement options, vacation, sick leave, and holidays; eligibility for Tuition Assistance after six months of employment.
