Location:

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Uniondale, New York, offering the chance to work alongside a collaborative legal team in a busy plaintiff personal injury practice.

Note:

Must have at least 2 years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience and the ability to manage files from intake through resolution. Experience with both pre‑litigation and litigation is required. SmartAdvocate experience is strongly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Job Description

Manage a full caseload of plaintiff personal injury matters from inception through settlement or trial

Handle pre‑litigation tasks including requesting and reviewing medical records and bills, preparing demand packages, and communicating with insurance adjusters

Support litigation matters by drafting and filing pleadings, motions, and discovery

Track court dates, litigation deadlines, and case milestones to keep files moving efficiently

Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

Communicate regularly with clients, medical providers, experts, and opposing counsel

Maintain accurate, organized, and up‑to‑date case files and documentation

Help drive cases forward with urgency, attention to detail, and strong follow‑through

Qualifications

2+ years of plaintiff personal injury paralegal experience

Strong knowledge of both pre‑litigation and litigation workflows

Ability to manage cases with minimal hand‑holding

Experience drafting legal documents and handling discovery

Familiarity with e‑filing systems

SmartAdvocate experience preferred

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills
