We are seeking a US Citizen/Green Card holder for detail-oriented and commercially minded Quoting Specialist to support our U.S. electronics manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for PCB assembly and related manufacturing services. You will work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to analyze BOMs, labor requirements, material costs, and process complexity to deliver profitable and customer-focused quotes. This is a high-impact role that directly influences revenue, margins, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Reviewcustomer RFQs, drawings, BOMs, and specifications for PCBassemblies and electromechanicalbuilds
Prepare detailed cost models includingMaterial costs (components, PCBs, consumables), Labor and process costs(SMT, THT, testing, coating, mechanical assembly, etc.), NRE and tooling charges
Work with Supply Chain to obtain component pricingand lead times from vendors
Evaluatemanufacturing risks such as: Complex BGAs/ fine pitch components, Special processes(conformal coating, testing, programming, etc.), Tight tolerances or qualitystandards
Coordinate with Engineering and Productionto validate: Cycle times, Setuprequirements, Process feasibility
Ensurepricing aligns with margin targets and businessstrategy
Maintain and update quotingtools, cost databases, and labor standards
Support quote revisions and customer negotiations
Track quote history and analyze win/loss trends
Assist in improving quoting accuracy and turnaround time
Required Qualifications
3+ yearsof experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or PCB assembly environment
ITAR and DoD experience preferred
Experience preparing or supporting manufacturing cost estimates/ quotations
Strong understanding of:
PCB assembly processes (SMT, THT, rework)
BOMstructures and component sourcing
Labor andoverhead cost modeling
Ability to interpret: Gerbers, assembly drawings, and schematics
Proficiencyin Excel (cost models, formulas, data analysis)
Strong attention todetail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple RFQs simultaneously underdeadlines
Excellent communication skills forcross-functional collaboration
Analytical and numbers-driven
Commercial awareness (understanding margin impact)
Process-oriented and structured
Fastlearner with strong problem-solving skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
