Key Responsibilities
Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs) and technical specifications.
Calculate accurate material, labor, overhead, and tooling costs for manufacturing projects.
Generate comprehensive and competitive price quotations using ERP/CRM systems.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure quote accuracy and manufacturability.
Communicate directly with customers to clarify technical details and address pricing inquiries.
Maintain and update a database of pricing models, historical data, and cost factors.
Support sales during negotiations by providing detailed cost breakdowns and pricing adjustments.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in a quoting, estimating, or pricing role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost drivers.
Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and dedicated quoting software.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, including the ability to interpret blueprints and BOMs.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculation.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Epicor).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
