The public sector enabling capabilities organization (ECO) consists of six functions that support Huron at the enterprise level: sales operations, sales enablement, government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management and engagement assurance. As part of ECO, engagement management partners with engagement delivery teams to execute public sector contracts in compliance with government regulations, policies, and contractual requirements.

The public sector PMO analyst is expected to support one or more project managers (PMs) across an enterprise‑wide portfolio of engagements to deliver on contract requirements including technical, cost, schedule, and quality performance. If desired, this role may have an opportunity to participate in project management activities for low‑complexity engagements with the intention of growing into a project manager role.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project setup and maintenance in ERP system responsibilities, including but not limited to:

Run monthly burn rate reports and provide to project leadership

Coordinate with billing teams to ensure invoices are accurate and compliant

Review expense reports to ensure compliance with government and internal policies

Support project resource forecast and contribution margin tracking

Support project management activities

Update project work plan and project management plan with direction from PM

Develop/customize deliverable templates and work with delivery team to prepare deliverables as stated in client contract

Schedule and attend internal team meetings, draft agendas, and distribute meeting minutes. May be required to schedule and attend external meetings at the request of delivery teams.

Manage internal team government background check activities including:

Coordinate with prime contractor or government agency contact as needed

Coordinate with employees to submit correct paperwork and manage appointments

Coordinate with HR to submit paperwork or process attestations

Support team records retention efforts and store files in accordance with Huron policies and government regulations

Participate in internal initiatives and projects as assigned

Qualifications This position requires excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. This individual must be able to balance multiple priorities and any given time and be able to communicate with various levels of internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate would have interest or experience with government contracting and/or project management.

Technical Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and Background

Bachelor’s degree required

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Teams)

Experience with Smartsheet preferred

Ability to balance multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines

Ability to work with teams and individuals of varying working styles in a virtual environment

Ability to analyze data sets and create charts and graphs

Ability to read and understand government contracts

Ability to obtain a security clearance if required by the contract

The estimated base salary range for this job is $55,000 - $75,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron’s pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $59,400 - $84,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron’s benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future.
