Functions in an entry level Designer capacity. Performs entry level work using computer-aided drafting design software related to electrical transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure projects. This position will assist in developing computer-aided drafting design solutions and prepare drawings using information from rough sketches, detailed engineering notes or brief verbal guidance including electrical, mechanical, and civil-structural disciplines. This position will work on various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients supporting major infrastructure projects.

Job Responsibilities
Assist with preparing drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.
Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.
Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline.
Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.
Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.
Maintains a working knowledge of project standards, systems, document control, department and company policies and procedures.
Ensures that deliverables are accurate and compliant by developing an understanding of the Quality Program and project standards.
Learn the coordination of deliverables within the team.
Qualifications Preferred Associates or better in Drafting & Design.
Technical/other training or better in Equivalent Experience.
