Overview
Assistant Director, Admissions Marketing and Operations Position location: BOSTON, MA, United States. This role is a Full-Time/Regular position in the College of Engineering's Graduate Programs Office (GPO) and reports to the Director of Master\'s Admissions. The Assistant Director leads the implementation, marketing, and operational strategy for the Online Master of Science in Software Engineering for Artificial Intelligence (OMSE). The role focuses on marketing strategy, data analysis, recruitment planning, and relationship building to ensure the launch, growth, and long-term sustainability of the program. The Assistant Director delivers a customer service-driven admissions model and supports prospective and admitted students through the admissions and onboarding processes. The role also serves as the primary liaison between GPO and Education Dynamics (EDDY), including developing standard operating procedures, ongoing communications management, and handling program-specific and admissions questions from EDDY. The Assistant Director leads the development, review, and approval of all OMSE marketing and recruitment content used by EDDY (email campaigns, landing page content, and enrollment coach scripts) with coordination and revision cycles to align with ENG academic policies and messaging. The position collects and analyzes enrollment and recruitment data to inform decision-making for the online master’s and other degree programs, builds sustainable models for marketing communications and application processing, and contributes to broader admissions initiatives within graduate engineering and special projects in the GPO. Responsibilities
Directs activities related to recruitment, selection, and yield for the OMSE program with emphasis on marketing strategy, data analysis, recruitment planning, and relationship building. Ensures a seamless, customer service-driven admissions experience for prospective and admitted students, including identifying prime prospective candidates and maintaining communications to support deposit conversion and onboarding. Oversees and serves as the primary liaison between GPO and Education Dynamics (EDDY); develops standard operating procedures and manages communications for program-specific questions. Leads development, review, and approval of all OMSE marketing and recruitment content used by EDDY (emails, landing pages, and scripts) with coordination to ensure accuracy and alignment with ENG policies and messaging. Collects and analyzes enrollment and recruitment data; informs decision-making for the online master\'s and other programs; contributes to broader admissions initiatives and special projects in the GPO. Qualifications / Required Skills
B.S./B.A. required; exceptional written and oral communication skills. Ability to develop and manage client relationships with a superior customer satisfaction focus; demonstrated ability to set and meet targets. Strong analytical and computer skills, including MS Office, CRM management, report building, communication campaigns, and planning and executing virtual recruiting and yield events. Excellent written and oral communication skills, including creating and presenting webinars and information sessions. Ability to handle a fast-paced, multi-faceted, changing environment; willingness to work night and weekend hours during peak recruitment periods. Please submit resume and cover letter.
