Position Summary
Meet census goals by working with facility clinical team. Manage the facility customer flow, admissions process, referral management and admission sign-in, through post-admission. Responsible for maintaining targeted occupancy levels of the facility.
Qualifications
Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator
Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively
Long term care experience required
Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party billing
Knowledge of medical terminology
Must be detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills
Able to react to emergency situations appropriately when required
Must be able to travel locally by personal automobile as required
Essential Functions Exhibits ability to perform functions of providing the following.
Follow up with all referrals in a timely manner.
Schedule and conduct tours for customers, families, and referrals.
In accordance with the Admission Sign-In policy and procedure, make sure all paperwork is signed and distributed appropriately.
Work closely with the Administrator and others involved to maintain consistent admissions, discharge and transfer meetings.
Review performance statistics including customer flow, pending and lost inquiries, denials, hospital discharges and sales activity.
Participate and assist in the coordination of presentations about the facility or other appropriate topics to hospitals, physicians, and other potential referral sources.
