Assistant Superintendent

This role leads the coordination of subcontractors, manages daily field operations, ensures quality control, and drives project schedules for exterior scopes including masonry, siding, windows, doors, framing, and related work. The ideal candidate is an experienced construction professional with strong leadership abilities, hands‑on field expertise, and organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities Jobsite Safety & Compliance Advocate safety as the number one priority on the jobsite and enforce compliance with company and jobsite safety plans, policies, and all applicable regulations

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite at all times

Proactively identify and resolve safety concerns before they elevate

Assist with scheduling and coordination of trade partners, ensuring accuracy within weekly work plan software

Attend and actively participate in subcontractor coordination meetings

Work closely with supervisory personnel, subcontractors, inspectors, suppliers, engineers, and architects to improve construction methods and resolve production issues

Assist with maintaining strong Owner and Architect relationships

Quality Control & Inspections Review and verify subcontractor layout, plumb, level, and square installations

Assist with overall job quality and as‑built documentation

Consistently implement quality control processes using Procore Inspection Tool, 360 photos, and SiteAware

Recommend construction techniques and detailing to improve building systems and outcomes

Documentation & Schedule Tracking Assist with verifying installation durations, submittals, and shop drawing reviews

Document daily jobsite activities, including work completed and items ahead of, on, or behind schedule

Support accurate reporting of jobsite progress and constraints

Ensure full utilization of ANDRES technologies, processes, and field systems

Participate in VDC coordination process where applicable

Share best practices and lessons learned with the project team and through the ANDRES Forum

Employ Lean Construction principles to improve workflow and eliminate waste

Seek continuous improvement in field operations, quality, and efficiency

Proactively identify construction challenges and resolve issues before they impact schedule or quality

Physical Requirements & Work Environment Walk the construction site daily

Ability to work extended hours in extreme heat or cold conditions as required

Ability to physically navigate an active construction site, including uneven surfaces, floor openings, heights, and other typical jobsite hazards

Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required

1-6+ years of experience in High Density Multi‑Family / Commercial Construction

Quality Control experience with Procore or similar inspection tools is preferred
