TheProgramDirector (PD)is responsible forleading the local chapter to achieve programobjectives,fundraising targets,andmanageandgrowthe annuallocalbudgetinalignment with Back on My Feet’s mission, vision, and core values. This role oversees a team oflocalstaff, managesthe stewardship ofthe local Advisory Board, and reports tothe Territory Directorwhile collaborating closely withDevelopment/Partnerships Team.
Key Responsibilities Leadership and Growth
Drivethesuccessful implementation oftheBack on My Feet program, meeting defined revenue and program goals
Develop and executeoverall fundraisingstrategyto meet or exceed annual fundraising targets andchapterbudgetgoals
Hire, manage, and support local staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment
Build, engage,and grow the local Advisory Board to advance fundraising, partnerships, and program objectives
Collaborate with the national leadership team implementinga chapter model that can be replicated in otherchapterson varyingscales.
Volunteer Engagement and Management
Manage and grow a robust volunteer community to support chaptergoals andinitiatives, ensuring volunteershave a shared understanding ofBack on My Feet’s mission andvision andadhere to Back on My Feet policies and procedures
Recruit, train, andretainindividual and corporate volunteers tosupportCircle Ups, workforce development,events,and financial goals
Program Implementation
Strengthenand expand Back on My Feet’s presence by cultivating new facility partnerships and deepening engagement with existing partners, ensuring sustained growthin program KPI’sand impactful collaboration
Overseethedelivery ofBack on My Feet’sworkforce development program.Growand strengthen partnerships with referral agencies,corporate,and employment partners toprovide needed support and services to members
Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, corporate partners, and foundations
Identifyand secure diverselocalfunding sources, including grants, partnerships, and corporate sponsorships
Plan and manage fundraising events to generate revenue and community awarenessin coordination withcentral Partnerships Team
Collaborate with thePartnerships Teamon national partnerships,relationships,andcampaigns
General and Administrative
Ensureaccurateandtimelytracking of program, donor, and partner data in Salesforce
Proactively collaborate withBoMFcentralstaffto provide impactful storiesandeventdetails for media coverage
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree,ORequivalent combination of education, training, and4+years of relevant work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent public presentation skills.
Willingness/ability to travel to multiple locationsinBaltimore and surrounding areas.
Ability to adhere to unconventional workschedule(e.g.morning circle-ups, starting between5:00am &5:30am;occasional evening and weekend programmatic activities).
Understandingofhomelessness, social services,recovery,and non-profitlandscapepreferred.
Proficiencywith technologyrequired, including CRM or case management software (Salesforce experience preferred), Slack,Asana,Microsoft Office.
