Founding Design & Sales Principal
to lead our growth. This is a high-visibility, "ground-floor" role designed for a professional who has mastered the technical fundamentals of kitchen design and possesses the
proven sales expertise
to lead sophisticated homeowners through significant interior transformations. We provide the operational infrastructure and leadership mentorship to help you elevate your luxury design portfolio while maximizing your earning potential.
Key Qualifications for Success
Technical Fundamentals & Emerging Vision:
You possess the technical rigor to produce flawless, executable designs using
2020 Design software , paired with a strong desire to elevate your design aesthetic for the high-end luxury market.
Sales Leadership:
You view "selling" as the natural conclusion of providing expert value. You are unapologetically confident in your sales process, from initial discovery to closing high-value contracts with poise.
Commercial Confidence:
You are comfortable presenting and closing substantial project investments, gracefully navigating the expectations and decision‑making processes of premium clientele.
Professional Presence:
You understand that in the D.C. metro area, you are a brand ambassador. You look and act the part of a trusted advisor, bringing a polished, consultative approach to every in‑home meeting that naturally earns the client’s confidence.
Mobility:
You possess a valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to client sites and conduct in‑home consultations across the Arlington and D.C. metro areas.
Work Authorization:
You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Global Collaboration:
You leverage
offshore design teams
for production support, allowing you to stay focused on high-value client interaction and
closing new sales .
Operational Integration:
You thrive in a "pod" structure, working seamlessly with the
General Manager ,
Operations Manager , and
Installation Crews
to ensure a "concept-to-completion" success.
Responsibilities
Drive Sales Growth:
Serve as the primary sales leader, managing the client journey from initial lead evaluation to the final contract signature.
Design & Sales Oversight:
Perform site evaluations and ensure that technical drawings—whether produced by you or our overseas team—are accurate, saleable, and ready for production.
Curation & Pitching:
Guide clients through high-end cabinetry and stone selections, effectively selling a cohesive, functional vision that meets their investment goals.
Contract Execution:
Confidently present comprehensive proposals, overcome objections, and secure signed agreements.
Schedule:
Primarily Monday–Friday; however, you maintain the flexibility to meet with clients
by appointment on Saturdays
to accommodate executive schedules and maximize sales opportunities.
Expected Earning Potential: $120,000 – $160,000+
(This represents your Base Salary plus uncapped, performance‑based commissions when hitting standard sales targets).
Base Salary:
$70,000 – $85,000
(Commensurate with market experience).
Sales Incentive Structure:
A robust, uncapped commission structure designed to reward high-performing "closers."
Full Operational Support:
We provide the infrastructure—including a dedicated Operations Manager and offshore design support—so you can focus 100% of your time on
sales‑generating activities .
