Job Summary
R.E. Allen and Associates, Ltd., an established land surveying firm in Grayslake, seeks an experienced land survey field crew chief. The field crew chief will primarily be responsible for construction layout projects, boundary surveys, Alta surveys, topographical surveys, subdivision development, and houseline surveying services.
Key Responsibilities
Maintains a good relationship with clients and staff, and works closely with and coordinates staff and client site superintendents.
Understands and accurately uses all field survey instruments. The candidate must be proficient in utilizing surveying GPS and robotic instruments as a one‑person field crew (Trimble experience is a plus but not required).
