Global Purchasing Senior Specialist
The Global Purchasing Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in coordinating and leading financial and vendor management in a multi-country environment for HR.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively execute and coordinate the "Purchase to pay" process for the People Organization, working closely with regional teams and SME’s across HR and BMS.
Execute the full life cycle of Purchase Orders management in SAP/ARIBA including creation, maintenance, on‑time payments, and closure.
Monitor and track invoices to ensure timely payment.
Conduct financial tracking, monitoring, and reporting of Purchase Orders against actual budgeted amounts.
Prepare and communicate monthly financial variance reports.
Lead collaboration with cross‑functional teams, both internal and external, to ensure invoices are validated and approved before releasing payment.
Build relationships with cross‑functional teams such as Accounts Payable, Global Payments, Finance, Procurement, and functional support teams.
Provide subject‑matter expertise regarding procurement and finance policies and procedures, utilizing SAP, ARIBA, and Icertis.
Work with HR and Finance to manage the harmonization of acquired companies, ensuring benefits and compensation are correctly aligned.
Provide insight and guidance to HR on BMS ways of working, addressing issues such as procurement processes, vendor creation, contract management, and facilitation of the I2P process.
Handle non‑BMS system payments through heritage payment systems.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree.
Experience with financial budgeting.
Experience in purchase order/vendor payment processing utilizing SAP/Ariba.
Ability to work in a matrix team with exceptional organizational skills.
Advanced data analysis, Excel and complex reporting skills.
Excellent communication skills for working across regional, remote teams and markets.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems with limited guidance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Compensation Overview Tampa - FL - US: $66,390 - $80,443 (starting compensation range for a full‑time employee on an FTE basis). Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities may be available. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
