Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure bid opportunities across Oklahoma and surrounding regions.
Prepare accurate cost estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
Determine labor, material, and time requirements for each project.
Develop detailed cost projections including manpower and equipment utilization.
Submit proposals to general contractors or project owners.
Monitor bid results and track bidding activity.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids to determine the most cost-effective solutions.
Cost Analysis & Planning
Compute overall project costs by evaluating labor, materials, and timelines.
Maintain and update cost databases for future reference and forecasting.
Review estimates with Project Managers prior to submission.
Analyze discrepancies and resolve estimation-related issues.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and present detailed estimates with both numerical and descriptive data.
Maintain organized records of all estimates and supporting documents.
Participate in post-project review meetings to improve future bidding accuracy.
Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat bidding opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on project scope and cost.
Contribute to team objectives and support overall business goals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Strong analytical and estimation skills.
Excellent planning and strategic thinking abilities.
High attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Required Experience and Education
Experience with project planning and cost analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in estimation and design tools such as Insite and AutoCAD.
Experience working with subcontractor bid evaluations.
