Job Title: Lead Installer — Residential HVAC (New Construction & Retrofit)

Position: Full-Time, Year-Round
Overview:
Taylor HVAC Inc. is a well-established residential HVAC company serving the northern Utah market for over 20 years. We're looking for a Lead Installer to own installation jobs (new construction), lead helper/apprentice(s), and deliver quality work on schedule. You’ll join a small, experienced crew — work alongside the owner and other seasoned installers — and help build the installation side of our business for growth and stability.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and complete HVAC installs (furnace/AC, refrigeration, controls, ductwork, and new residential builds)
Read blueprints and layout plans
Supervise and coordinate helper/apprentice(s) on site as needed
Ensure installations meet code, quality, and safety standards
Coordinate with scheduling/office for timely job completion
Interact with customers/prospective buyers on site in a professional manner
Occasionally assist on small service or maintenance jobs
What You Bring:
5+ years experience in residential HVAC installation (new construction)
Strong understanding of sheet metal work, furnace/AC installs, duct layout/installation
Dependability, punctuality, and ability to meet builder deadlines
Good communication and basic customer service skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Compensation & Benefits:
Base wage: $30–$35/hr
(depending on experience)
Opportunity for overtime and bonuses for performance / job-cost efficiency
