Role: Summer Camp Director & Assistant This dual-focused role is responsible for both the high-level coordination and the active, hands‑on execution of our summer program. You will lead a team and engage directly with campers to ensure a summer of "Fun and Learning."
Key Responsibilities
Plan and lead daily camp schedules, outdoor expeditions, and skill‑building activities.
Supervise and mentor staff while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all campers.
Oversee logistics for field trips and manage communication with parents and administration.
Provide energetic, direct supervision to school-aged children from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
Qualifications
Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older to apply.
Experience: Strong background in youth leadership or educational program management.
Skills: Exceptional organizational skills, high energy, and a passion for mentoring children.
Compliance: Must meet all Illinois DCFS licensing and background check requirements.
