Your Role as the Executive Director / Administrator Americare Senior Living is seeking a dedicated
Executive Director / Administrator
to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our
Assisted Living / Residential Living Community . In this highly visible leadership role, you’ll be responsible for fostering a warm, nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for both residents and team members.
As the Executive Director / Administrator, you’ll oversee all aspects of community operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while driving excellence in care, culture, and performance.
This role may also be known as: Executive Director, Assisted Living Administrator, Community Administrator, Senior Living Administrator, Residential Living Administrator, Residential Care Facility Administrator, Continuing Care Retirement Community Administrator.
What You’ll Do Leadership & Community Management
Lead with a resident‑first mindset, prioritizing compassionate care, safety, and quality of life.
Set clear expectations, model accountability, and foster a positive, service‑oriented culture.
Team Collaboration & Development
Cultivate a culture of teamwork, transparency, and open communication across all departments.
Hire, train, coach, and develop a high‑performing team of caregivers and support staff.
Operational Excellence
Oversee medical, nursing, and administrative functions to ensure smooth and effective daily operations.
Enforce policies and procedures that support high standards of care and regulatory compliance.
Fiscal & Performance Management
Develop and manage the community budget, monitor expenses, revenue, and occupancy.
Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies, revenue growth, and operational improvement.
Community & Family Engagement
Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families.
Engage with the local community to promote Americare’s mission and strengthen the community’s reputation.
Facility & Asset Management
Oversee building maintenance, improvements, and equipment upgrades to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and team members.
What You Bring Licensure & Credentials
Current state Administrator licensure or certification, as required by state regulations.
Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT), if required by the state.
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Relevant fields may include Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, Gerontology, or a related discipline.
Experience
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Proven experience successfully managing, leading, and developing teams in a senior living or healthcare leadership role.
Skills & Knowledge
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and relationships with residents, families, team members, and community partners.
Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, medical terminology, medication management protocols, and compliance standards.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Occasionally assist with safely transferring residents.
Vision requirements include near and far vision with good depth perception.
