Program Director – Evansville
Dungarvin is hiring a Program Director to oversee and manage programs for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. The role involves both direct care and supervisory duties.
Responsibilities
Personnel management and program coordination, ensuring staff complete orientation and ongoing training.
Monitor all aspects of the program, including development of individual goals and plans and implementation of the program.
Coordinate and manage all operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, guiding and directing site staff.
Provide leadership and team building for staff at programs.
Ensure quality of services in alignment with person‑centered practices, licensing and Dungarvin expectations.
Provide direct care as needed at programs.
Schedule Full‑time, Monday‑Friday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. with on‑call responsibilities. Schedule may vary based on program needs and may include evenings and weekends.
Starting Wage $47,000 – $52,000 annually based on education level.

Bachelor’s degree in a human services field of study preferred.
At least 1 year full‑time, direct experience working with participants with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
At least 2 years of experience in management and working with developmental or intellectual disabilities.
Prior experience developing and implementing individual programs, budgets, and supervising employees is desired.
Demonstrated good decision‑making, time‑management and communication skills, and responsibility and flexibility.
Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal care to persons served.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
