Job Opportunity: Temporary Purchasing Specialist
Our client, a leader in their industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Purchasing Specialist to join their procurement team. This is a vital support role focused on keeping the supply chain moving by ensuring materials and services arrive exactly when they are needed.

Key Responsibilities
Generate and process purchase orders for a variety of materials, components, and services.
Monitor open orders and proactively expedite late or urgent shipments to maintain production schedules.
Review purchase requisitions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company approvals.
Maintain ERP data health and manage Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN).
Maintain organized purchasing records, supplier files, and critical documentation.
Prepare reports on material availability, supplier performance, and open order status.
Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or high-level administration (relevant internships are welcomed).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) is a significant plus.

Detail-Oriented: A "measure twice, cut once" approach to data and accuracy.
Problem-Solver: The ability to troubleshoot delivery issues independently.
Communicator: Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
Adaptable: Comfortable shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Compensation & Benefits Salary: $19.5 - $24.5 per hour.
Shift: First. Work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM.
