Client Portfolio Analyst

Job Description The Client Portfolio Analyst will be an integral part of our dedicated Relationship Management team, covering clients and consultants worldwide. Alongside other team members, he/she will serve as an additional point of contact for many of our most important relationships. The role’s primary objective is to ensure that the servicing needs of our clients and consultants are met in a timely and accurate manner. The role will be based in Boston, with a focus on highly sophisticated relationships encompassing a variety of client types and Payden & Rygel strategies.

Job Responsibilities

Coordinate key client communications on portfolio characteristics, risks, returns, market views, etc.

Assist with creating presentations, reports and marketing materials for existing client objectives and product strategy.

Take care of clients’ day-to-day queries, investigate and respond to internal and external ad‑hoc questions on topics such as portfolio /fund specific information or investment guidelines and compliance matters.

Collaborate with team members across strategies in monitoring portfolios daily for adherence to client objectives and product strategy.

Help coordinate with internal and external stakeholders the onboarding of new accounts, transition management and account restructuring procedures.

Coordinate with multiple internal teams to prepare and actively contribute to meetings with existing clients and prospects.

Qualifications

Proven team‑player willing to support broader efforts to the benefit of our clients.

Ability to prioritize requests, manage deadlines, and work under time pressure to deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

Intellectually curious and enthusiastic about the investment management industry – some level of market knowledge and fixed income is preferred.

Strong verbal and written skills, as well as proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and database querying, would be a plus.

The ideal candidate would have one to five years of relevant experience in a client‑facing, business development or product management role.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance.

Some progress toward obtaining the CFA qualification is preferred.
